Responsible AI
The real risks, and where human responsibility stays
Noviz is built around governance and audit logging, but no AI system, including this one, should be treated as infallible. This page is a plain statement of where an ERP AI agent can go wrong, and what stays a human responsibility no matter how capable the agent becomes.
The big problems with trusting any AI agent blindly
These are not hypothetical concerns. They are the reasons Noviz is built with review checkpoints, role enforcement, and audit logs in the first place.
- AI can be confidently wrong. A language model can generate an answer, a recommendation, or an action plan that sounds correct and isn't. In an ERP context, that can mean a wrong ledger entry, a misread inventory level, or a flawed reading of a policy document.
- Business rules can't cover every edge case. Noviz enforces role checks, numeric sanity checks, and workflow state guards on every action, but rules are only as complete as the people who wrote them. Unusual or novel situations can fall outside what any rule set anticipated.
- Data quality limits decision quality. An agent reasoning over incomplete, outdated, or incorrectly entered ERP data will produce recommendations that inherit those same problems.
- Automation bias is real. The more consistently an agent gets things right, the more tempting it becomes to stop checking its work. That tendency, not any single technical failure, is often what turns a small AI mistake into a serious business one.
- Financial, legal, and compliance decisions carry real consequences. An incorrect approval, an incorrect filing, or an incorrect customer commitment can have consequences well beyond the ERP record itself.
What stays a human responsibility
Noviz is designed to support decisions, not to replace accountability for them. Regardless of how much of a workflow the agent handles, the following responsibilities stay with the people and organizations using it:
- Review before acting on anything serious. Any recommendation, draft, or proposed action with meaningful financial, legal, compliance, or customer impact should be reviewed by a qualified person before it's approved or executed.
- Setting the boundaries of autonomy. How much an agent is allowed to do on its own, and in which categories of transaction, is a decision the deploying organization makes and owns, not a default Noviz assumes for them.
- Maintaining data quality and access controls. The organization running Noviz is responsible for the accuracy of the ERP data the agent works from and for keeping user roles and permissions correctly assigned.
- Escalating what falls outside the rules. Anything ambiguous, unusual, or outside a defined boundary should be routed to a person, not forced through the agent because it happens to be faster.
- Independent verification for regulated or high-value decisions. Accounting entries, regulatory filings, and large financial commitments warrant the same independent verification an organization would apply regardless of who or what drafted them.
Our disclaimer
**Noviz is an AI ERP agent, and like any AI system, it can make mistakes. Its outputs and recommendations should always be reviewed before being acted on, and it should never be left to make unsupervised decisions on matters with serious financial, operational, or compliance consequences without human sign-off. Zeetech Soft Solutions is not liable for any data loss, incorrect corrections, or financial or operational discrepancies arising from decisions made solely on the agent's output without independent review.**
