Organizations on major ERP and cloud platforms already entrust their business data to those vendors, and the same vendors now deliver AI through large-scale agreements with the leading model providers. Their commitments not to use customer data for model training are made in good faith, yet they remain commitments, not guarantees. When one vendor’s cloud and AI services span the data of thousands of organizations, the opportunity to draw on that data for training or future products remains within reach, and policies evolve as vendors grow.

How a Request Flows
Each request passes through three layers: execution in your enterprise system, orchestration in the Noviz AI relay, and reasoning in the AI model. Only the reasoning layer involves an AI model, and all work on your business data takes place inside your own environment.

A user asks a question in plain language. The request reaches the Noviz AI relay with the user’s verified identity and tenant.

The model receives the question and a description of the available data, such as fields, record counts, and totals, and plans the next step. Business records are not part of its input.

Execution in place
The Noviz plugin or extension executes the step inside your enterprise system, under the signed-in user’s session and permissions. Filtering, grouping, and totals are calculated by your system, and reports and PDF documents are generated there.

Presentation and AutoFlow
The relay presents the outcome as tables, charts, and document views, and AutoFlow proposes the next step in the business process. Nothing is forwarded to the model, and no business records are stored outside your enterprise system.

Execution inside your system
Every query, calculation, report, and document action runs inside your enterprise system, under the signed-in user’s own session and permissions.
A filtered trajectory
A request unfolds as a sequence of steps between the AI model and your system. Each step response is reduced to metadata before it reaches the model, so the model reasons over descriptions, not record sets.
Presentation without retention
The Noviz AI relay composes tables, charts, reports, and AutoFlow steps for the user and retains none of your business records.
No aggregation of customer data
Customer data is never pooled, used to train models, or used to build products. The platform improves through reviewed workflows and the experience of each collaboration.

Three layers, each with a defined responsibility, keep AI reasoning separate from business data execution.
Execution layer
Noviz plugin or extension
Installed in your enterprise system, for example the Noviz app for ERPNext or the extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Executes queries, calculations, document actions, and reports in place, under the user’s session and permissions.
Orchestration and presentation
Noviz AI relay
Coordinates every request: governance and confirmation controls, AutoFlow process guidance, report definitions, and the presentation of tables, charts, and document views. Retains no business records.
Reasoning layer
AI model
Interprets the request and plans each step from the question and metadata, such as fields, record counts, and totals. Business records are not part of its input.

Noviz uses leading third-party AI models for reasoning. The difference lies in how precisely that exchange is controlled: every step of a request is filtered before anything reaches the model, which receives the prompts it needs and metadata describing each result, never the records behind them.

Your business data remains under your organization’s control. Noviz minimizes data movement, preserves tenant isolation, and operates strictly within the permissions of the authenticated user. Your records stay in your enterprise system: they are never stored elsewhere by Noviz, never used for model training, and never pooled with other customers’ data.

Security and Accountability
Noviz is built on encrypted communications, tenant isolation, native platform permissions, and auditable operations. Every action is governed by the connected system’s authorization rules, with confirmation required before changes are committed.
Organizations that require full control of model usage can connect Noviz to their own AI provider account, keeping usage, costs, and data terms under their own agreement.
